Oyster Pools are trained Jacuzzi® Hot tub installers with nearly a thousand installations successfully undertaken. The hot tubs are supplied ready assembled and substantially packaged, so are large, heavy and awkward to install safely, without damage.
Jacuzzi® UK hold all spa models in stock at their warehouse near Stoke-On-Trent, therefore, our lead time from purchase to installation date, on average, is between 2 to 3 weeks dependant on our workload.
Site Visit. Prior to delivery, Oyster Pools will always undertake a site visit at your property to assess the route from roadside to your desired location, and to discuss its placement to ensure optimum usage throughout the year. If you are unsure your desired spa will fit into location, we will be happy to undertake a site visit before you buy. Please contact us to arrange this.

Electrical Connection. The majority of our hot tubs require a 32-amp supply (same as an electric cooker). Oyster Pools cannot undertake any electrical installation work for your new hot tub; however, we typically recommend local qualified electricians who can satisfy the wiring from the house to the hot tub. See Electrical Specification sheets below for more details.
Location & Access. The hot tub can be situated on any hard standing area such as an existing patio, concrete base or decked area; however, the standing must fulfil the following criteria:
NOTE: A hot tub is for all year round use; in fact, we know from customer feedback that they are used more during the winter than the summer.
–Will my family and I walk there in winter?”
Think of the hot tub practically, rather than aesthetically. There's no point in having the hot tub in a location that is too far from the house; even if it is beautiful! This would not be practical because you will be reluctant to walk there during the cold winter months. The closer to your house, the better. Convenience is everything!
When Oyster Pools installs your hot tub we will undertake the following;
Standard Installation
This involves transporting the spa using our specially designed –Spa Mover System”. Your spa is towed to your property on our specialised spa trailer. Once there, we'll offload the spa onto its side, and onto our specially designed spa dolly. The spa is now transportable on four wheels, in a vertical upright position (see pictures below). It can then be wheeled to your desired location and lowered down into place.
The spa dolly is 36” wide, so will fit through most standard outdoor gates. However, if you buy a spa deeper than 36”, to compensate, extra width of 2 - 8 inches will be necessary.

HI-AB Installation
After a site visit has been conducted at your property, and it is apparent that a standard installation will not be possible due to access restrictions, we can consider using a HI-AB. This is a mechanical lifting arm mounted on a lorry, and is used to lift the hot tub over obstructions such as walls and fences.
HI-AB's are subject to an additional fee, usually £150 inc. VAT, though is variable depending on your geographical location.
Crane Installation
If the only means of getting a spa into your property is with a crane, rest assured, Oyster Pools has successfully undertaken many crane installations throughout Wales and the South West. We will liaise with the crane hire company for you, and arrange for one of their representatives to visit you and undertake a home site-visit. They'll calculate the required reach and check for power cables etc. They will then provide you with a quotation for the lift.
Subject to an additional fee, averaging from £375 inc. VAT. This is dependant on your geographical location, and the size of the crane required.
